Salem, it is time to GET CONNECTED!

What is a Small Group?

A Small Groups consists of 3 to 12 individuals who meet to study the Bible, share life with others and serve God and others.

Small Groups (Connection/Community) are the primary place where believers build the "life together" friendships they desire and for which God created them. The best of relationships challenge us to think deeply about our lives and our relationship with God, our family and others.  At Salem we believe this type of relationship happens best in a small group.

Who can join a Small Group?

Small Group participation is open to all Salem members, as well as non-members (visitors, family, friends, co-workers) who have a desire to join a Salem Small Group.

What is the difference between Communtiy Groups &
Connection Groups?

Community Groups are small groups where members meet in the homes, restaurants, online and even the Salem campus.

Connection Groups are study groups that meet for corporate prayer, praise and a teaching by our Pastor on Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday night. After the Pastor’s teaching, members break into small groups to discuss a prepared lesson, based on the Pastor’s teaching moment.

How does a Small Group benefit you?

Small Groups provide an opportunity for you to grow closer to God through Bible study with an emphasis on reading, research, and application of biblical principles.  Small groups provide an opportunity for you to connect with others relationally, allowing you to share your personal experiences and stories with other s in your group.
