  • Prayer week-  will take place on March 1st through March 5th from 9am to 9pm at Salem West and Salem East (Panola road). Come and spend time with God in prayer.

Sustaining Word

Jesus is Light
“You light up my life…” are words in a love song penned some years ago to express one’s affection for the love of their life.  If we feel like someone brings this much to our life, we must thank God and show our appreciation for their presence in our life.  However, through your devotional time this week, think about how Jesus lights up your life.  How has he helped you to see through the dark times in your life?  How has His light guided you on your life’s journey?  And, have you let the light of Jesus shine through you so that others may come to know Him?

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Prayer  
Light of My Life, Keep me from the ways and the paths of darkness. Lord, let Your light shine in me, around me, for me, through me, and on me so that You can get all the glory in my life.  Amen.
